My "Fifth Element" is the love I feel for this unique and wonderful cat: the Devon Rex.My love for this breed started when I was just 11 years old. I went to a cat show in Genova and saw this cat for the first time in my life. He was a red kitten, fully curled wearing a funny woody coat to protect him from cold.From that moment on my life changed. I strongly felt the need to find for myself one of those strange creatures certainly coming from a mysterious planet of our universe...
Finally, in 1996 I got my very first Devon Rex.
He was a black male, with two enormous ears, a big and round belly and almost completely naked, but for me he was the most beautiful cat in the whole world!
"XL" was his name.... sadly, he doesn't live with me anymore... but my love for him and for this breed never finished, just increased, even more, with time.I had some nice litters during the years which gave me a lot of satisfaction. But the most important thing for me is the fact that all of my kittens found loving homes and nice people (now my friends) to live with.
The aim of my breeding is to produce healthy and happy kittens of high quality and lovely temeperament without too much inbreeding to avoid any kind of problem.
I don't have cages at home and all my cats run free in the house and do what they want, when they want.I want to express my deepest gratitude to some friends. To all those who helped me in beliving in my potentialties and in my cats and especially to ILEANA, MORENO, DONATELLA (my webmistress), MARCO, BIAGIO, ISABELLA, EUGENIA, NINO, MAIDA, PAOLO, TOMMY and if I forgot anyone here, they are clearly remembered inside my heart. :-)
Also I'd mention Mrs. Francesca Balestreri (Pipistri Cattery) for transferring to me the love for my first Devon Rex girls. But, on top of the list, I want to thank my dearest friend CINZIA. Without her my Cattery would not exist at all.
